The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, together with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, voted to further extend the compliance date for the Form PF amendments adopted on Feb. 8, 2024, moving it to Oct. 1, 2025. The amendments’ compliance date had originally been March 12, 2025, and was previously extended to June 12, 2025. Form PF is the confidential reporting form for certain SEC-registered investment advisers to private funds, including advisers also registered with the CFTC as commodity pool operators or commodity trading advisers. The extension is intended to give filers additional time to program and test systems for compliance with the amended reporting requirements.
