The notice prohibits Bloomyears, without the SFC’s prior written consent, from carrying on any business that constitutes the regulated activity for which it is licensed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) and from disposing of or dealing with property held by it or on behalf of clients, including assisting, counselling or procuring others to dispose of or deal with such property. The restriction notice was issued under sections 204 and 205 of the SFO, and Bloomyears is licensed to carry on Type 1 (dealing in securities) regulated activity. The SFC’s investigation is ongoing.
