Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission reported that domestic banks’ loans to small and medium-sized enterprises reached TWD 11.2911 trillion at the end of June 2026, an increase of TWD 113 billion from the end of May. SME lending represented 62.60% of total loans to enterprises and 66.22% of loans to private enterprises, down 0.34 and 0.16 percentage points, respectively, from May. The average nonperforming loan ratio for SME lending remained unchanged at 0.20%.
