Brazil’s Securities Commission (CVM) has added a new “Sanctioning Proceedings” dataset to its Open Data Portal, bringing forward a release that was scheduled under the CVM Open Data Plan 2024–2025 for June 2025. The dataset will be updated daily and will publish basic information on Administrative Sanctioning Proceedings (PAS) recorded in the Integrated Sanctioning System (SSI) that have reached the “service of process and submission of defences” stage. CVM also published an updated Open Data Plan document, with stated validity from June 2024 to May 2026, setting out how it will guide the opening, maintenance, monitoring and promotion of the use of CVM data bases.
