The Czech National Bank has published an updated list of Czech-resident investment funds for monetary and financial statistics and confirmed that funds on the list, or the management companies managing their assets, must report to the central bank under Decree No. 389/2024 Coll. The adjustment reflects a December 2025 reclassification under the recast European Central Bank Regulation on investment fund statistics, which moved investment funds with variable or fixed registered capital that establish sub-funds into the financial auxiliaries sector and out of the investment fund list. For statistical purposes, the list covers Czech investment and mutual funds operating under Act No. 240/2013 Coll. on Management Companies and Investment Funds. It forms part of the European System of Central Banks' investment fund sector list, which is monitored continuously and updated monthly on the European Central Bank website across euro area and non-euro area European Union countries. Money market funds remain outside this list because they are classified as monetary financial institutions and included in the separate list of monetary financial institutions.
