The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a two-day exchange event with representatives of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan to share experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial and economic activities. The programme included interactive presentations covering budget planning and management, the Central Bank’s accounting policy, accounting processes including securities accounting, financing and management of enterprises and organisations under the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, internal accounting control, procedures for conducting financial operations, and international reserves management. Participants also held Q&A discussions on international practices and challenges in their implementation. The two central banks agreed to continue cooperation to support staff qualification and broaden experience in these areas.
