The European Payments Council (EPC) announced that Bits, Revolut Bank and Wise joined as members from 1 January, expanding the industry body that manages and promotes standardisation for European account-to-account (A2A) payments. Following the additions, the EPC said its membership includes 83 payment service providers and European or national associations, and positioned the new joiners as further participation by fintech and other innovative financial players in its European A2A payments standardisation and management work.
