Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) president Roberto E. Silva spoke at the Ethereum Foundation’s Devconnect Argentina, using a keynote to review the regulator’s recent agenda to modernise Argentina’s capital markets, with emphasis on new rules for Virtual Asset Service Providers (PSAVs) and the tokenisation regime. In his Main Stage keynote, titled “Argentina at the forefront of capital markets innovation in Latin America and the world”, Silva highlighted CNV’s role in issuing and implementing a framework intended to provide predictability, security and transparency for PSAV activity in Argentina. He also delivered a session at the Stable Summit on “The Process of the Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) Registry in Argentina”, moderated by the Argentine Fintech Chamber’s head of Payments and Crypto, and attended the Eth Capital Summit. The CNV president is also scheduled to speak at a private event focused on digital governance initiatives, titled “Real World Assets”, organised by SEED Gov in collaboration with the global Arbitrum team.
