Senior officials from the Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) delivered a series of presentations as part of a virtual training programme supporting the Suitability Certification for the Guarantee System, under the regulator’s Financial Education Programme. The course was organised by the Argentine Chamber of Guarantee Companies and Funds (CASFOG), with participation from CNV specialists as well as representatives from the Ministry of Economy’s Production Coordination Secretariat and the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic. CNV Vice President Sonia Salvatierra and board director Laura Herbón taught a three-class “Capital Markets” module covering Argentina’s capital markets, the regulatory framework, key participants and instruments, including concepts such as negotiable securities, public offering and financing, alongside developments linked to tokenisation, SME financing instruments and the role of Mutual Guarantee Societies.
