The Bank of Cape Verde announced that its Behavioral Supervision Office, in partnership with Associação Abraço, will hold a community event in the Alto da Glória neighbourhood on 31 May 2026 as an early World Children's Day celebration linked to promoting financial education for children. The programme combines educational and recreational activities. It includes videos and awareness spots on savings, the value of money, the difference between needs and wants, and basic financial planning, alongside a children's theatre performance titled “Savings”, a shared snack, and music and entertainment. The event is open to the community.
