The Namibia Deposit Guarantee Authority (NDGA) published its Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, setting out information on its governance and management, operations, and the performance of the Deposit Guarantee Scheme. The report also includes the NDGA’s independently audited annual financial statements for the same period. The NDGA was established under the Deposit Guarantee Act, 2018 to administer the Deposit Guarantee Scheme, which is intended to protect depositors by compensating them in the event of a commercial bank failure, supporting consumer protection and financial stability.
