The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) reported that its president, Roberto E. Silva, took part in the 49th meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Corporate Governance Committee in Paris on 7–8 April, where delegates from more than 30 countries and multilateral institutions discussed current work on corporate governance. Silva highlighted the need to adapt methodologies to the specificities of each jurisdiction to implement the OECD corporate governance principles effectively. The agenda included roundtables with index, ratings and ESG data providers and with proxy advisory services, as well as discussions on reports covering global trends in the use of public capital markets by growth companies and revised guidelines for corporate bond issuers. Participants also reviewed work on artificial intelligence and its impact on corporate governance, alongside preparations for the OECD Corporate Governance Factbook and the Global Corporate Sustainability Report 2025.
