De Nederlandsche Bank has confirmed that a EUR 29,700 administrative fine imposed on trust office International Trust Services B.V. is now final. The fine was imposed on Nov. 24, 2025, because the firm failed in 2022 to arrange the required audit covering January through December 2021. Trust offices must conduct an audit at least annually under the Trust Offices Supervision Act 2018 and the Trust Offices Supervision Decree 2018. The audit assesses compliance with applicable laws and regulations and reviews the performance of the compliance function. International Trust Services filed its objection after the six-week deadline, and De Nederlandsche Bank found the delay inexcusable and declared the objection inadmissible. No appeal was filed against that decision.
