The Financial Superintendence of Colombia published a stocktake of five strategic projects led by Superintendent César Ferrari to reshape the country’s financial system, highlighting the presentation of a new Basic Legal Circular under its Regulatory Optimisation project. Updates were presented at an event hosted at the supervisor’s headquarters with participation from supervised financial institutions, industry associations and academia. The other strategic projects covered were open finance, digital supervision, optimal risk management and institutional modernisation, alongside supporting slide decks on open finance regulation, digital supervision progress, risk-management optimisation, the launch of the new Basic Legal Circular and modernisation advances.
