The Central Bank of Taiwan reported that financial institutions’ actual liquid reserve ratio declined by 1.82 percentage points from May to 23.49% in June 2026, remaining above the statutory minimum ratio of 10%. Actual liquid reserve assets fell by TWD 578.2 billion to TWD 12,990.9 billion. Liabilities subject to liquid reserve requirements totaled TWD 55,302.9 billion, generating required reserves of TWD 5,530.3 billion. Central bank certificates of deposit remained the largest reserve asset at TWD 5,308.6 billion, followed by government bonds at TWD 2,371.6 billion and redeposits at designated banks at TWD 1,059.1 billion.
