Paraguay's Social Security Council approved the final list of applicants admitted to Stage II of the public competition to form a shortlist of candidates for Superintendent of Retirement and Pensions. The decision follows the resolution of appeals from Stage I, which covered applications and documentary verification, and moves the process into the curricular evaluation phase. The council ratified a report from its support committee reviewing appeals filed during the two-business-day window after publication of the initial admitted and non-admitted list, which closed on Nov. 18, 2025. The final list contains seven admitted applicants. Of the 18 original applicants, six had initially been admitted and 12 rejected at Stage I. Applicants admitted to Stage II must submit in physical form all documents previously filed digitally during Stage I. The documents are to be delivered to the General Secretariat of the Vice Ministry of Economy and Planning on Nov. 21 and 24, 2025, in line with the competition's terms and conditions.
