Total contributions for the year increased 14.4% to AUD 202.8 billion (employer contributions up 10.3% to AUD 147.1 billion and member contributions up 26.9% to AUD 55.7 billion), while benefit payments increased 11.6% to AUD 127.5 billion, driven by lump sum payments of AUD 70.0 billion (up 9.1%) and pension payments of AUD 57.6 billion (up 14.9%); for entities with more than six members, net contribution flows rose 13.4% to AUD 67.0 billion.
