The Chile Financial Market Commission (CMF) and the Superintendence of Pensions (SP) issued a joint regulation amending the System of Consultations and Offers of Pension Amounts (SCOMP), removing “external” pension offers from the system from 1 September 2025. The change requires companies to provide their best offers within SCOMP, eliminating pension offers made outside the platform. SCOMP provides comparable information on life annuity and programmed withdrawal pension offers for individuals during the retirement process. The amendment implements a pension-system modification passed in March and includes a transition period under which insurance companies may still include external offers in Offer Certificates issued up to 31 August 2025.
