The Financial Conduct Authority has opened vacancies for two new members of the Financial Services Consumer Panel, the independent statutory panel that represents the interests of consumers of financial services to the FCA. Panel members are expected to provide constructive challenge and expert advice to help embed the consumer perspective in the FCA’s policy development and implementation, with regular engagement with senior FCA leadership. The FCA is seeking candidates with expertise spanning consumer policy, behavioural insights, innovation and technology, fintech or digital markets, retail banking, investments and payments, and has set an application deadline of 15 May 2026.
