The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan’s Board has granted Closed Joint-Stock Company Humo Bank a banking licence to conduct banking operations in the national currency and in foreign currency, following its conversion into a bank. As part of the same decision, the central bank declared invalid the licence previously issued to CJSC “Humo” under Board decision No. 51 of 11 May 2017. The measures were taken with reference to Tajikistan’s laws on the National Bank, microfinance organisations, banking activity, and the licensing system.
