The U.S. Department of the Treasury hosted Liberty University students and faculty for a summit on artificial intelligence, energy and emerging technologies, focused on how new technologies are reshaping the economy and public sector delivery. Held during Financial Literacy Month, the event convened students, government officials and industry representatives and did not set out new policy measures. Four panels covered frontier artificial intelligence, energy, workforce productivity and financial literacy. Discussion focused on AI-driven economic growth, the infrastructure needed to scale emerging technologies, productivity gains across the workforce, and expanding access to capital and credit. Participants included senior officials from Treasury, the White House, the Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration, alongside leaders from the AI, digital infrastructure, energy and financial services sectors. The event was livestreamed for Liberty University participants and invited Treasury staff, including members of Treasury’s AI Council.
