The Seychelles Financial Services Authority issued an alert about a fraudulent website, http://www.fsaseychelle.com/, which it says is cloning the FSA’s website and is not operated by or linked to the FSA in any capacity. The authority noted that the cloned site is displaying a list of entities and representatives it claims are licensed by the FSA, and directed the public to verify licensing status using the official list of licensed and regulated entities published on https://fsaseychelles.sc/. It urged investors and the public to conduct adequate research before transacting or sharing personal details, and stated it is not responsible if individuals continue relationships with, or use services provided by, the fraudulent website.
