The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) released results from the 32nd Financial Advisers Exam cycle held in March 2026, reporting a 71.6% pass rate across 292 candidates. The exam was administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) using a process intended to ensure consistent standards across cycles. Of the March cohort, 209 candidates passed and 77.7% (227) were first-time sitters; results are issued on a pass/fail basis under the Corporations (Relevant Providers – Education and Training Standards) Determination 2021, and unsuccessful candidates receive general feedback from ACER on areas of underperformance. Cumulatively, ASIC reported that 22,611 candidates have sat the exam to date, with 20,963 (92%) having passed. The next exam is scheduled for 4 June 2026, with bookings opening on 24 April 2026 and closing on 15 May 2026.
