The Central Bank of Syria has signed a cooperation agreement with Frankfurt University of Financial and Administrative Sciences and German Development Bank KfW to develop banking expertise and workforce capabilities in Syria. Under the three-year agreement, the university will provide training programs and specialized expertise, funded by KfW, primarily for central bank employees and more broadly for banking sector workers.
