The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP), represented by Superintendent Alessandro Octaviani, attended the launch of the Central Bank of Brazil’s institutional seal commemorating the central bank’s 60th anniversary and used the event to reaffirm institutional cooperation. Octaviani pointed to the Central Bank of Brazil’s legally defined role in safeguarding economic stability and noted that the central bank’s interaction with SUSEP-supervised firms is increasing. He framed SUSEP’s engagement with the central bank as part of joint work, alongside other system participants, to strengthen confidence in the financial and insurance markets and to promote greater legal certainty, stability and innovation. The ceremony took place at the central bank’s headquarters in Brasília with a YouTube livestream and included participation by Central Bank president Gabriel Galípolo and former presidents.
