The Chile Financial Market Commission has published for consultation a proposal to amend General Rule No. 532 governing the Information Systems Manual for Funds (ISMF), postponing its entry into force until June 2026. The ISMF sets instructions for submitting supervisory information by general fund managers and their funds regulated under Law No. 20,712. The proposal adds new fields and instructions for submitting regulatory files, revises the Funds 02 file by replacing mandatory submission of registries 01, 02, 03 and 04 with an obligation to report managed funds’ derivative transactions to the Central Bank of Chile via SIID-TR, and updates the calculation structure for funds’ cost rates in the Funds 03 file. The amendments would take effect upon issuance of the regulation, with ISMF-based submissions starting in June 2026, while reporting entities would continue submitting information under current requirements until November 2026.
