The Central Bank of Russia reported that more than 2.4 million schoolchildren took part in the Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Olympiad, which for the first time also included high school students and used game-based, real-life scenarios such as fraud prevention and avoiding being used as a money mule. Held on the UCHi.ru education platform from 4 March to 3 April 2025, the best-performing task was Hosting a Party Wisely, completed successfully by 64% of participants. Nearly half (49%) developed an efficient strategy in the Green City simulation game, while the most difficult block was Financial Maze and only 45% avoided scammers in the Fraudsters task. Participation was highest from the Rostov Region, followed by the Kemerovo, Volgograd, and Moscow Regions and the Republic of Tatarstan. The Olympiad was organised by the Bank of Russia with National Priorities, Russia’s Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development, and UCHi.ru, with support from Movement of the First.
