The National Bank of Moldova reported that Governor Anca Dragu took part in the relaunch event of the Republic of Moldova–Romania Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Chișinău, positioning financial stability and closer bilateral cooperation as key enablers for investment and deeper economic and trade ties. In her remarks, Dragu pointed to Moldova’s recent progress on economic stability, reforms and integration with the European economic area, and highlighted steps to modernise financial infrastructure, including the launch of the P2G functionality for instant payments to public services through the MIA system created by the National Bank of Moldova and preparations for technical integration into the Single Euro Payments Area. The event agenda also included the presentation of an economic study focused on factories in Basarabia, the launch of a dialogue platform to support domestic producers, and the chamber’s new visual identity and 2025–2026 strategy.
