The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission has launched the second year of its “Insurefluencer the new GEN 2026” programme, expanding a youth initiative that uses creative media and practical activities to build insurance literacy, risk management awareness and financial planning skills among secondary and vocational students. The programme follows its first run in 2025, which attracted more than 210 schools and educational institutions nationwide. The 2026 programme is designed around Boot Camp activities that develop communication skills, creativity and understanding of insurance, with students encouraged to share knowledge with families, schools, communities and the wider public. Participating schools and institutions must provide insurance training to at least 100 students alongside learning-station activities covering topics such as becoming an insurance communicator, microinsurance, motor insurance, the role of the Office of Insurance Commission and related insurance knowledge. They are also expected to integrate the material into teaching and extend activities into the community. Pilot events have already been held at schools in Lampang and Sukhothai, drawing more than 300 students in total. Participants must submit an E-book or PDF activity report and a three to five minute summary video for regional or Bangkok and national competition rounds. Submissions are due by 24 July 2026, with results scheduled for August 2026. Judging will cover Boot Camp quality, content accuracy, creativity, student participation, communications and the sustainability of community follow-on activity. The national winner will receive education funding of up to THB 80,000, together with a trophy and e-certificate.
