The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved a set of senior appointments in the insurance sector, covering governing body, executive body and finance leadership roles. The approvals cover A.O. Aldambergen as a governing body member and independent director, V.V. Lyubimov and A.S. Utkin as members of the executive body, G.A. Shaukhymberdiyeva as chief accountant, and Sh.Zh. Shermatov and E.S. Taitugoleva as governing body members. The consents were recorded in agency protocols dated 17 June, 24 June, 27 June and 30 June 2025. The agency also noted that, under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activity, a senior executive who has already received the authorised body’s consent may transfer to a similar position within the same sector without additional consent, provided the relevant qualification requirements are met; the current list of effective consents is available in its registers of permits and notifications.
