The website states that it has an Isle of Man address which the Authority could not verify as legitimate, and it purports to offer services including money transfer and foreign exchange. The Authority also referenced emails linked to the purported company signed by an individual describing himself as a director for foreign currency operations, and warned that the activity may be aimed at defrauding users or harvesting personal data for identity theft; anyone already involved with the website was advised to consider notifying their local police, and concerns about unlicensed regulated activity should be raised with the Authority’s Enforcement Division.
