The National Association of Insurance Commissioners is convening state insurance regulators, international counterparts, industry leaders and other interested parties in Columbus, Ohio, from Aug. 11-14 to address pressures facing consumers and insurance markets. The agenda covers insurers’ evolving investment strategies, artificial intelligence and emerging technology, mitigation and resilience, and insurance affordability and accessibility. NAIC President and Virginia Insurance Commissioner Scott A. White’s keynote address will focus on innovative and data-driven state insurance oversight.
