The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) has renewed its technical cooperation with the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services’ Digital Government Secretariat to move the EVA PREVIC data platform into a new phase, adding new dashboards and expanding the scope of supervisory and transparency information available on closed pension funds and their benefit plans. Under the first addendum to the cooperation agreement, EVA PREVIC will add a Market Monitor Panel (initially for internal use) with consolidated market information and indicators, and a public-facing Licensing Panel to track licensing requests and improve the quality of information used in PREVIC’s licensing management. The extension also provides for additional time to correct and enhance dashboards already developed, the incorporation of management indicators for closed supplementary pension entities (EFPC) into PREVIC’s entity management information dashboard and PREVIC information dashboard, and improvements to benefit-plan investment information, including more detailed investment data. The renewed cooperation agreement runs for 18 months from its publication in the Official Gazette. PREVIC and the ministry also plan to make the PREVIC information dashboard publicly available as simplified external access to open-data style information.
