The Uganda Insurance Regulatory Authority has indefinitely lifted the 30 May 2025 deadline for health insurance service providers to prequalify under its 21 March 2025 circular. The authority is consulting with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council on the prequalification process and will issue further updates.
