The European Banking Authority updated the validation rules in its supervisory reporting frameworks through its regular quarterly review, identifying rules deactivated because of inaccuracies or IT issues and those that have been reactivated. European Union competent authorities should not formally validate data submitted under the applicable Implementing Technical Standards and Guidelines against deactivated rules. The update also includes a micro taxonomy package and scripts for updating Data Point Model validation rules. Required for validation rule updates from release 4.0 onward, these components reflect the integration of rules directly into the taxonomy and Data Point Model 2.0, supporting consistent implementation, change traceability and harmonized supervisory reporting.
