The National Association of Insurance Commissioners announced that Gary Anderson has left his role as chief executive officer, effective 29 October 2025, and named NAIC Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer Jeff Johnston as interim CEO with immediate effect. Johnston brings more than 25 years of experience at the NAIC to the interim role. The organization also thanked Anderson for his service.
