The Bank of Italy announced it will participate in European Researchers' Night 2025, part of Science Week running from 21 to 28 September, with a programme of talks and outreach activities in Frascati aimed at fostering dialogue between citizens and the scientific community. Sessions at the Frascati Town Hall include “Quantum physics and computer science” (23 September, 9:00–10:30), “The money of the future” (23 September, 11:00–12:30), and “Climate and environmental risks for the economy and finance” (24 September, 11:00–12:30). On 24 September the Donato Menichella Centre in Frascati will be open to the public from 17:00 to approximately 22:30, featuring exhibition spaces and interactive activities on the Bank’s environmental commitment, official statistics, banknote sustainability, counterfeit detection, sustainable mobility, the future of money, and the Bank’s Green Data Centre, alongside guided tours, the “Data Detox” exhibition, and a visit to banknote sorting equipment; participation is capped at 500 with online registration required, bookings closing at 16:00 the day before, and entry permitted until 20:30.
