The Angola Capital Markets Commission reported that, as part of its Financial Education Programme, it held a workshop on 13 May 2026 at Lusíada University of Angola on the fundamentals of the capital market, saving and investment. The session was aimed at the university’s academic community and formed part of the commission’s broader financial training and awareness activities. Organised by the CMC’s Studies and Financial Education Division and led by Daniel Chipenda, the workshop covered the functioning of the financial system, the basics of the capital market and its role as a source of medium and long term financing, and an introduction to the collective investment schemes industry. The session also included an interactive question and answer segment to clarify points raised by participants.
