The Swiss National Bank has announced the opening of the Moneyverse, its new visitor centre in Berne’s Kaiserhaus, from 10 April 2026. The centre is designed for a broad audience, particularly school classes, and covers the SNB’s mandate and activities, the history of money, and current societal questions related to money. Moneyverse will be located at Marktgasse 37 in Berne, offer content in German, French, Italian and English, and be open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm with free admission. The Bern History Museum will manage operations on the SNB’s behalf, with the exhibition featuring historical artefacts, expert audio tours, an interactive game, and curriculum-based programmes for lower and upper secondary school classes.
