The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced that it held an expanded meeting of the Entrepreneurs Cooperation Council under its Board, focused on strengthening cooperation between the financial and banking sector and entrepreneurs and widening businesses’ access to financial services. Council members, senior representatives of banks and financial institutions, and entrepreneurs from different sectors discussed real-sector financing, further easing access to credit resources, support mechanisms for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the use of innovative financial instruments. Entrepreneurs raised issues including improving lending conditions, optimising collateral requirements, expanding digital financial services, and increasing financial access in the regions. In closing remarks, Chairman Taleh Kazimov highlighted the importance of maintaining ongoing dialogue, strengthening mutual trust, and expanding joint work to implement concrete initiatives through the Council.
