The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) hosted its ‘QFC Connect’ networking engagement, bringing together QFC firms, key partners and national entities to strengthen collaboration across Qatar’s innovation and technology ecosystem. Held under the theme ‘Empowering Growth Through Collaboration’, the event drew more than 400 participants, including representatives from Invest Qatar, Qatar Development Bank, the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council and Qatar Manpower Solutions Co. (Jusour), and featured sessions on growth opportunities, shared challenges and resources for expansion in key markets. The QFC also pointed to recent ease-of-doing-business initiatives, including a streamlined incorporation process, instant licensing for non-regulated activities, a 90% reduction in application fees, and the Platinum Onboarding Service, which offers a fast-track option enabling one-hour incorporation.
