The Central Bank of Bolivia, working with Bolivia’s National Customs, has enabled exporters to obtain the Gold Export Certificate through the www.vuce.gob.bo platform, replacing the previous in-person process with a fully digital workflow. Under the new process, certificates for raw, semi-worked, powdered or monetary-use gold can be issued immediately. For exports of gold mineral concentrate or gold waste, the procedure is simplified to uploading two digital documents, the Single Export Form FORM M-03 and a Laboratory Report, with a stated processing time of one business day and real-time status tracking via the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE). For certificates issued “subject to exchange”, exporters will submit an email request to the central bank from 1 April 2025.
