The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency of Türkiye has amended the premium framework for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance. Maximum premiums applicable in August 2026 by vehicle group and type of use will increase by 1.75% for September 2026. An additional 2% will apply to the increase for taxis, minibuses with 10-17 seats including the driver, buses with 18-30 seats including the driver, and buses with at least 31 seats including the driver. The revised maximum premiums apply from Sept. 1, 2026.

Türkiye’s insurance regulator will increase compulsory motor third-party liability insurance premium caps by 1.75% for September 2026. Taxis and specified minibuses and buses will be subject to an additional 2% increase from Sept. 1, 2026.
