The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan published an update on its meeting with a delegation from Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, focused on exchanging information on financial-sector priorities and exploring options to expand bilateral cooperation. During the discussions, Central Bank Chairman Taleh Kazimov briefed the delegation on the bank’s 2024–2026 Financial Sector Development Strategy and related strategic initiatives. The Kazakhstan side, led by Agency Chair Madina Abylkasymova, presented its approaches to safeguarding financial stability, banking and insurance supervision, and broader financial market regulation, alongside a presentation on digitisation projects underway in Kazakhstan.
