The Hong Kong Monetary Authority reported that the Hong Kong Academy of Finance (AoF) and the Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance (Tsinghua PBCSF) signed a memorandum of understanding in Hong Kong to establish a formal framework for collaboration on research, knowledge exchange and financial leadership development. The MoU sets out potential cooperation between the AoF, including its research arm the Hong Kong Institute for Monetary and Financial Research, and Tsinghua PBCSF through mutual visits of faculty, scholars and leadership programme participants, joint activities, seminars and academic conferences, and collaborative research and development projects. It also covers support for initiatives aimed at reinforcing Hong Kong’s status as an international financial centre, with the parties highlighting collaboration in areas including global financial policy work and financial technology.
