The Central Bank of Seychelles Board agreed on a roadmap of short- to long-term actions for the next phase of its 2024-2028 strategic plan following a review of the bank’s priorities, governance and operating environment. The roadmap emphasizes stronger board oversight of strategy implementation, alongside enterprise risk management and stakeholder engagement. The Board also reviewed progress under the plan, including implementation of the Seychelles Real-Time Gross Settlement system. Other work covers climate-related risk reporting and supervisory guidelines, climate stress testing, a risk-based supervision framework for market conduct and a regulatory sandbox framework.
