The Central Bank of Slovenia, together with the Ministry of Finance, has concluded the 2026 Bodi FIN project for primary schools with a nationwide competition to test financial knowledge, with more than 5,000 students participating across the full programme. Launched in 2025, Bodi FIN targets pupils in years four to nine of primary school. Ahead of the competition held during Global Money Week, teachers received exercises to prepare students, supported by in-school workshops delivered by central bank staff. More than 2,400 students took part in the competition, and 146 received gold awards; these students will enter a prize draw for a main prize of a visit to the Croatian central bank in Zagreb. Separately, the Central Bank of Slovenia is again running the Masters of the Digital Future project this school year under the patronage of President Nataša Pirc Musar, with the 2026 edition due to conclude in May with an international final debate involving several other central banks.
