The Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures (MONEYVAL) reported that a delegation led by its Chair took an active part in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Plenary and Working Group meetings held in Paris from 20 to 24 October 2025. The delegation contributed to FATF workstreams covering the mutual evaluation reports on Belgium and Malaysia, FATF Strategic Priorities for 2026–2028, Asset Recovery Guidance, and potential future illicit finance risks associated with artificial intelligence and deepfakes. It also followed deliberations of the International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) concerning MONEYVAL members currently subject to ICRG processes.
