The Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) announced it has won the WSIS Champion 2025 award at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum organised by the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, Switzerland, for its “Financial Inclusion Dashboard: Enabling Data-Driven Decisions for Inclusive Growth” project. The initiative was selected among the top five in the “WSIS Action Line: Access to Information and Knowledge” category. The Financial Inclusion Dashboard provides policymakers, researchers and other stakeholders with real-time data and indicators intended to support decision-making on financial inclusion and sustainable economic growth, with an emphasis on transparency and data accessibility. The PMA said the award followed competition against more than 60 projects in the category, and highlighted close cooperation with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Economy; the award was presented by ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin.
