The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) issued an ordinance appointing 11 successful candidates from the National Unified Public Service Exam (CPNU 1) in a third round of calls to fill permanent roles at the agency. The appointments cover three Administrative Analyst positions (Information Technology), seven Complementary Pension Specialist positions, and one Administrative Analyst position. PREVIC framed the third call as filling remaining competition vacancies and replacing staff who moved to other public bodies, and reiterated that CPNU 1 provided for 49 vacancies in total (40 originally offered and nine later authorised by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services), with 30 of the 40 first-round appointees and 12 of 19 second-round appointees taking office. Nominees have up to 25 days from publication of the ordinance to submit required information via SOUGOV.BR, after which information must be provided in person at PREVIC’s people management unit in Brasília. If a nominee does not take office within the statutory 30-day period from publication, the appointment is void under Law 8.112/1990.
